Coached performance training for young athletes, athletes chasing selection, and adults who want to move like athletes again. Built around your goals, your current ability, your sport and your week. Assessed first, coached every session, retested to prove it is working.
Speed is the hardest quality to improve, one of the biggest force multipliers in every sport, and the first thing we lose as we get older. Speed, power and athleticism are also what keep us healthy and capable for life, so to me it makes sense to train them at every age. It is what I missed as a young athlete and what I am making up for now. Turning 40, I am a better athlete than I was in my teens and twenties, with more energy than I have ever had. That is why speed is king here. Tim, head coach

If one of these sounds like you, the call is your next step. If none of them do, the call is where we tell you that too.
Keen, plays everything, but gets beaten to the ball. Club training is drills and games, and nobody is teaching them how to run fast.
Coordination and the skill of speed built while the window is open, so they arrive at Speed Performance with the base already there. Two coached sessions a week.
Apply for a call →Training hard but not getting faster. Speed work and gym work happen in different places, or not at all, and the body picks up niggles when the season loads up.
Faster off the mark and faster at top speed, with the strength, power and body armour to hold it across a season. Two to three coached sessions a week to start, more as consistency, readiness and recovery allow.
Apply for a call →Strong enough, but not athletic. A body that has not felt quick and capable since the playing days ended, or an injury you want to get properly past instead of managing forever.
Strength, power, mobility and conditioning, coached, with the numbers to prove it. Tim, our head coach, set personal bests in most of his tests at 39 on this program. Two to three sessions a week to start.
Apply for a call →One family, more than one path. A young athlete, a teenager chasing selection and a parent can each need a different starting point. Not sure which fits? Apply anyway. The call is where we work that out, for each person.
Sprinting is one of the most effective ways to build speed, power, elasticity and coordination, and one of the riskiest if the body is not ready for it. So we cover both, and tailor the split to what you need. Build speed. Build the body to handle it.
Five questions below, then fifteen minutes on the phone about who you are, what you want, and what has been getting in the way.
One on one, about an hour. We measure where you are and the numbers decide the path and the starting dose.
A plan, a coach at every session, and a retest so you can see it working.
This is not gym access. You are joining a coached performance system, and not everyone is the right fit for it. That is what the call is for. The assessment is 99, and there is no sign-up fee when you join after it.
No. It is coached athletic performance training. Every session is coached, and the program is built for you from your assessment.
Memberships are 279 or 369 every 4 weeks, about 70 to 92 a week, depending on the path and how often you train. The assessment is 99, and there is no sign-up fee when you join after it.
No. Where you are now decides the path, not where you think you should be.
We talk through your goals, your week and your training history, and whether Athletes Edge is the right fit. If it is, we book your assessment.
